Dry food and moist food
SANIMED Atopy/Sensitive is available as complete dry food and as complete moist food in cans and pouches. The dry food contains hydrolysed fish protein as sole source of animal protein and for the moist food it is intact salmon protein. The three product forms are formulated so that for the indication of atopy they have an identical, effective composition. The three foods have the same contents of salmon oil and borage oil when these contents are expressed per unit of food energy. Because the moist food contains whole salmon, the content of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) is higher than that of the dry food. On an energy basis, the dry and moist food have identical concentrations of calcium, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, magnesium, chloride, sulphur and of the vitamines A, D3 and E. Per unit of energy eaten, a cat will ingest with the dry form of SANIMED Atopy/Sensitive identical amounts of effective components as with the moist variant. Thus, SANIMED Atopy/Sensitive as dry and moist food are fully exchangeable without compromising the efficacy of dietary treatment.
